| Microdermabrasion and Chemical Peels Training
ONE-DAY WORKSHOP
Microdermabrasion:
Has several benefits, including minimal complications, predictable results, low discomfort if any, and no down time. Microdermabrasion removes dead skin at a more rapid pace than home products such as harsh walnut scrubs or exfoliating beads. The most common and visible results a client will see after a Microdermabrasion treatment is a deep exfoliation ( to cast off in scales, applied to the skin to remove dead cells from the surface) that leaves the skin healthier, radiant with a more even skin tone. For clients to receive ultimate results, technique and appropriate training is essential.
Chemical Peels:
Chemical Peeling is an ancient practice that dates back to the early days of Egypt, more than 5000 years ago. Only fruit acids and lactic acid from milk were available. Early Europeans used soured wine to help clarify the skin. Modern innovations in peels based on research have expanded the practice of skin peels. When the correct method, technique and peeling agent are applied the wounded skin allows re-epithelialization to occur, generating new, younger looking skin increasing collagen and elasticity.
This one day workshop will focus on anatomy, essential skin physiology, aging mechanisms and treatment, exfoliation mechanical and chemical, pathology of skin disorders
Microdermabrasion training is hands on using diamond tip Microdermabrasion equipment and Derma Sweep® a patented state-of-the-art exfoliation system combined with topical solutions infused.
Each category of chemical peels will be covered the potential risks, patient selection and expectations. Adding skin peels to a practice and additional manufacture training and safety.
